Meet Perry from Operations

My name is Perry Bundy. I am the Production Supervisor down here at plant three and plant four. I have a four-year degree from Wester North Carolina in Criminal Justice. I went into the army, and I serviced as an infantry office fought in Afghanistan and came back home. Heard The Quartz Corp was hiring through one of my friends and got picked up as a 3rd shift LabTechnician, got picked up as 2nd shift Lab Technician, then I moved to Quality Control Specialist. A plant 3 Supervisor job came open. I put in for it and I have been doing that for about a year now.

What I do here at TQC as production supervisor is, I control the last part of production. I am over shipping. My guys out here bag the final process of the sand. So, we take and mine the rocks like this and we will break this down. This is smoky quartz. We will break that rock down and we will separate it into mica, feldspar, and quartz. And that we are after specifically is the quartz out of it. We take this rock and turn it into this. So, that's pretty cool.

We make a difference here at Quart with green energy. To have green energy for the most part you have to mine it. We do a lot of volunteer work inside the community. It’s giving back to the community but it’s also taking care of the people.

The opportunity to advance, so I feel valued by this company there is opportunity for yourself and for your family. The team I work with here is outstanding. I work with my friends. All of us have one goal, it’s to make the best quality sand we can. I feel like everyone is on the same page.
