Wellness

At TQC, we consider wellness to be a holistic employee experience that extends beyond the reach of traditional programs.

Wellness is a broad term that encompasses different ideas to different people. At TQC, we consider wellness to be a holistic employee experience that extends beyond the reach of traditional programs. From accessibility of mental health resources to fighting food insecurity, our Human Resource team serves to meet the needs of every individual.

While options abound, participation is always optional and varies by location. The following is a sample of what you will find offered at TQC:

  • Fitness programs, such as hiking the distance of the Grand Canyon for prizes, are hosted annually.
  • People discover the motivation to exercise with discounted gym memberships.
  • For those interested in a bit of spirited competition, TQC sponsors corporate sports teams. They span every interest including hockey, softball, basketball, skiing, and more sports teams. Teams welcome members of every skill level and gladly make accommodations as needed.
  • We take care of individuals in their post TQC chapter with next steps for retirees including eligible Medicare enrollment assistance.
  • Family fun is strongly encouraged by way of discounted theme park tickets, free festivals, and holiday parades.
  • As part of our employer paid EAP (employee assistance program), individuals have access to coaching for mental wellbeing and life issues. Members and household dependents have access to up to 3 counseling sessions per issue. Counseling sessions are 60-minutes via phone, video, or in-person with a Masters level or PhD clinician. Sessions are focused on higher level mental health needs such as anxiety, grief, or stress. In addition to short-term counseling, members and household dependents can schedule up to 3 confidential coaching sessions per year. Starting with a wellbeing check that will measure current wellbeing, mood, and stress levels. Based on the assessment, individuals receive recommendations to over 40 online and/or coach guided mental health skill building courses.
  • Employer provided fruit baskets, beverages, and snacks are available per location.
  • Addiction and recovery assistance is available to everyone.
